Terms of Service

Platform Rules

• Users must be current university students with a valid student email.
• No scams, fake services, misleading listings, or unsafe behaviour of any kind.
• Academic integrity: Users must not offer, request, purchase or provide services that involve completing assessed academic work on another student's behalf, including assignments, exams or other graded assessments. Legitimate tutoring, teaching and academic guidance are permitted.
• Users must not engage in illegal activity, fraud or deceptive conduct, harassment or threats, or offer services that create unreasonable safety risks.
• All payments must stay on-platform. Do not arrange off-platform payments.
• Users are responsible for their own conduct and the services they provide or purchase.
• Accounts can be suspended or permanently removed if these rules are broken.

Platform Fees

Student Marketplace retains a percentage of completed transactions to cover payment processing, platform maintenance, platform development, safety features, and customer support.

Independence

Student Marketplace is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or operated by the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).
